Using safe, stable and social canoes this guided tour explores the Bowcombe Creek area of the Salcombe/Kingsbridge estuary. The canoes are easily controlled and paddled by beginners. Usually they take two adults but with extra seating they can accommodate a small family. This is a 3 hr tour where we can travel that little bit further to explore more of the estuary and its wildlife. We will stop on a deserted beach, fire up the wood burning Kelly Kettles and butter some scones. There will be a supply of Devon clotted cream and strawberry conserve to make the trip more memorable. The only decision to make is whether to have coffee, tea or hot chocolate to go with the scones.
“Dave just wanted to say how much the two girls enjoyed the canoe in the estuary on Friday. They were very bouncy and enthusiastic on the way back. Hope to see you in late July or first half August.” Graham
“I love canoeing with Singing Paddles, Dave is so knowledgeable about the wildlife and environment – I learn something new every time I go out. Was absolutely fantastic, would highly recommend any of his trips to anyone. You see the things from a completely different perspective on the water – amazing” Mike
