Launching from Timbers car park around high tide we can make the most of the water to explore.  We will travel first downstream and then turn to paddle upstream.  As the river narrows we will have to negotiate trees to discover the hidden seclusion of the area around  the weir.  After a brief look round we can retrace our steps to find the aqueduct and the canal.  Along the way we will stop to look at and discuss the many  interesting plants found along the waterway.  Wildlife to be spotted: kingfisher, grey mullet, barn owl, little egret, osprey, deer, swallows, sand martins, house martins

Ann Marie Dickinson   “Thanks for a great afternoon – I’d highly recommend it to anyone – great for learning something about canoes and wildlife of the area.”

“Dave, that was SUCH fun yesterday – the 3 boys and I loved it and you made it all such fun as well as being informative.
Thank you so much for providing a unique way to entertain and spend time with them!!
Best wishes.”  Jane

“Thanks for a lovely paddling trip on the Avon estuary this morning! Booked last minute but worth the effort….everything was great, good equipment, great surroundings, good company and expert guide and local knowledge from Dave. Both 13 year olds were novices but loved it. Highly recommended, thank you 👍” Kevin
